Dealers usually also run a service shop, so they can handle those small fixes right away. This saves you future repair costs.

Second, dealers need to protect their reputation. If a random individual seller rips you off, there is not much consequence for them. But if a dealer gives you a bad deal, you can take to the internet and give them bad reviews. Other future customers could read this and decide not to do business with them, which costs them future sales! Unlike private sellers, dealers are incentivized to provide fair deals.
